We just looked at each other for a long moment. Though the situation was unusual for both of us, it didn't feel awkward. "You dropped me." she said. "Well..." I replied. "... you dropped me first."
"Yes, but... you have wings."
"Well... so do you."
She smiled. I guess I did, too.

This young adult left her home tribe several days ago to climb The Old Rumbler. It is a time-honoured tradition for trainee shamans. When first she saw me, she thought I was a hallucination. Then she thought I was a visiting spirit. Soon thereafter she thought I was a messenger of the ancient gods. But before we parted ways, she realized I wasn't any of these things. I can't claim to know where she could have gone after vanishing in a burst of light. But I do know that as far as her tribe is concerned... their promising young shaman left on her vision quest... and was never seen again.

When I saw her, I felt something was unusual about her. It wasn't much more than a suspicion at first. But as our interaction continued, I could sense a force inside her. She seemed oblivious to her own nature, and I suspect she might have spent her life never truly discovering it. True to my nature, I couldn't not vex things up!

Did you notice I had to re-initialize my telekinetic hold on her, before I could pick her up?  Do you want to know what was really weird about that? My first attempt was strong enough to pick up your average freight truck... but not strong enough to lift her... Needless to say, at that point I was quite curious to see what kind of butterfly would hatch from this cocoon.

Hey! Thank you for watching. And thank you for reading. I hope you found it worth your time. I started this animation in mid-January 2017. And it has taken me until roughly mid-May 2017 to finish. It's been quite a learning experience. I see so much that I wish I had done better. But I need to take these lessons and move on to the next project. Video editing, and especially creating the right audio samples proved quite a challenge. I suppose I should look for better software...
